Travelling moments

Nendo knows how to travel in style. The Kame suitcase for Italian brand Fabbrica Pelletterie Milano is made of polycarbonate and fabric, with updated functionality for contemporary travelling, and several smart details. Kame comes in four colours; shiro white, sun orange, eclipse blue and wasabi green, and in one size: a 550 mm cabin case.

Whenever I indulge in fab design I take a minute to remember: Access to this kind of high quality, contemporary scandi design is a privilege. ”What refugees carry in their bags as they leave their lives behind” is a series of photos and interviews by Tyler Jump for International Rescue Committee (2015). One family of 31 people (seven women, four men and 20 children) lost all their belongings on their journey from Aleppo, Syria, to Greece. They saved just one bag:

A teenager, age 17, from Kunduz, Afghanistan, travelling alone, says he wants nothing but to fit in, to look European, hence the face-whitening cream. Now illegal in Greece he carries:
