60 and forever young

Last year was a year of anniversary editions as several iconic designers and furniture pieces from the Scandinavian modernistic era were celebrated. Chairs and sofas, tables and lamps were re-launched and/or up-dated. We also got pastels en masse, enough to keep us going well into 2015… And yet, it’s always fun to party! Congrats to Chair 3107 ™, aka The Series 7 Chair ™ (nicknamed ”Sjuan” in Swedish) by Arne Jacobsen. Originally presented in 1955 and said to be the most copied chair in the world. Ironically it was itself a ”copy”, or at least inspired by an Eames chair!
