A scandi chair made of wood or wood/steel. A chair with a softly shaped seat and back where all the edges face away from the body. Stackable and light. Simple yet handsome. This is how classic blends into contemporary! For the Soft Edge chair designstudio Iskos-Berlin used a method that generates significantly more double curvature from standard veneers. They also worked with 6 mm instead of the usual 10 mm plywood, thus reducing the consumption of wood.
